PUMP TRUCK DRIVER

With the growth of our organization, we are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to join our team. Whether you are just starting in the Transportation/ Waste Industry or you are already a successful professional driver, Pit Stop Portables is looking for you!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a confident and personable individual, the pump truck driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty septic/vacuum truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers, while complying with all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations and with company policies. Our Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering and removing toilets to and from our customer sites as required.

The following outlines the additional job requirements for this role:

• Performing Pre- and Post- trip vehicle inspections of assigned vehicle
• Operating a single axle septic vacuum service vehicle while servicing portable toilets throughout a designated route
• Communication with Dispatch throughout the day and checking in at the end of each shift
• Providing exceptional customer service skills
• Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner while following proper loading, dumping and unloading procedures
• Ensuring the Pit Stop cargo securement policy is being followed
• Ensuring that all safety policy and procedures are consistently being followed ie. having proper PPE, ensuring the vehicle is equipped with the proper equipment, etc.
• To safely operate our vehicles on all roads with a professional attitude and obey posted speed limits
• Must follow the company absenteeism policy
• Must report all significant events on road including, but not limited to, any incidents or accidents, violations, near misses, site safety issues, etc.
• To drive in a defensive manner, be aware of surrounding and look ahead, leave a safe distance between vehicles, be a professional and courteous driver
• Must possess an understanding of logistics and geography of Vancouver and surrounding area
• Managing time and routes in an efficient manner
• Service the portable toilet units as per the companies policy while following company procedure
• Must be physically able to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing more than 50lbs

Education/ Experience Requirements:

• Class 5 drivers license
• Clean drivers abstract (30 days or newer)
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)

The position is full time, with varying start times and varying days, 40 hours and seasonal overtime as we are a 7 day operation. You will provide support in the planning, design, optimization maintenance, measurement and reporting of SEM, SEO and other demand generation programs to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, improve Customer Experience and deepen our Customer and potential new Employee ‘s engagement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaboratively strategize, plan, design, curate and execute social media content across all our social platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
• Build, launch, optimize and maintain paid search & display campaigns via Google Adwords, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook & other social platforms.
• Ad optimization with testing on search ad copy & banners.
• Campaign optimization using keywords, placement & landing pages.
• Responding to social media inquiries as well as monitoring Pit Stop’s Team’s use of social media messaging directly to customers.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary education Digital Marketing or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of relevant social media management experience.
• Outstanding writing skills.
• Proficiency with all things social, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Hootsuite.
• Knowledge of Google tools, including Gmail, Google My Business, Analytics, Docs, Earth, etc.
• Google Analytics and Adwords Certified would be an asset
• Competence with the Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook.

YARD PERSON / SPARE DRIVER, Calgary, AB

YARD PERSON/SPARE DRIVER

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a confident and personable individual, the yard person is responsible for efficiently maintaining the yard. In addition to maintaining the yard he or she is required to manage, assess, repair and clean toilets and acquire a good understanding of the company inventory control process. This role requires a dynamic person who can embrace change and effectively provide support to other lines of businesses, cross training will be provided to accomplish this task.

The following outlines the additional job requirements for this role:

• Daily inspections of yard, picking up lose debris, maintaining general cleanliness.
• Collection of trash from shop floor, looking for trip hazards and drying floor.
• Sweeping the yard and the shop and using a magnet if required.
• Organizing all shelves (shop)
• Segregating the yard, ensuring all assets (bins, toilets) are all in their designated area
• Inspection of toilets, separating broken from functional
• Preparing toilets for delivery, pressure washing as required, graffiti removal / paint over, repairing of units e.g. replace hand sanitizer dispenser (rivets), toilet seats, remove graffiti & fixing doors, All units MUST be delivered to customer sites with decals on all 4 sides.
• Providing support to maintenance e.g. picking up parts and other equipment.
• Serve as a spare driver for deliveries and pump services (after completion of training)
• Additional tasks will be allocated by the operations supervisor on an ad hoc base and based on the operational needs.

DESCRIPTION

The Sales & Customer Experience Specialists are responsible for following call center policy and procedures including meeting call center standards, employee sales, improving quality service (Customer Excellence) and accomplishing organizational goals.
The role will be focused on growing our business and will be responsible for becoming experts in identifying challenges that our existing and prospective customers face and work collaboratively with the team to execute strategies to secure and close new business while providing our Customers with the best experience possible.
Our products are portable washroom facilities, executive washroom trailers, septic holding tanks, roll-off waste containers and various add on items.

What your day to day will look like:

• Work directly with customers via telephone (incoming & outgoing calls), and email to describe products and/or services in order to persuade potential and current customers to purchase new products and/or services
• Educate customers on product offerings and services
• Follow up with customer via telephone or email following initial sales contact
• Identify customer issues and provides appropriate solutions via upsell of additional products and/or services and obtain customer commitment/ signoff.
• Meet departmental sales goals consistently
• Complete continuous product education to improve customer service
• Maintain accurate daily record of sales in sales tracker.
• Complete outgoing quotes/bids in a timely manner

· Services the portable toilet units as per the following companies expectations;

o All units MUST be delivered to customer sites with decals on all 4 sides

o When instructed, units going as stock must be stock. VIP or EVENTS (sink) units are NOT to be delivered to construction sites unless instructed otherwise. Must be included on Paper work.

o If you know of units that are improper, please notify dispatcher so that we can arrange for them to be switched out.

o We should never ever deliver a dirty unit to a customer’s site.

o Units must be cleaned & sprayed each time

o Graffiti removal

o Exchanges on damaged units or really bad units

o Repairing of units on site e.g. replace Hand Sani Dispenser (Rivets), Toilet Seats, Remove Graffiti & Fixing Doors

o Do not leave paper on decks as it ends up on the floor or in the tank

o Do not leave “Hand Sani Bag Refills” on decks as it ends up on the floor, stolen or in the tank. Make sure you check instructions on cover sheet and/or if it requires a Hand Sani Bag Refill (if the sanitizer is broken, different make or doesn’t work) replace the Hand Sanitizer with a riveter and include a new bag refill.Possessing an excellent knowledge of the city and its surrounding area.

· Assessing routes and making sound decisions on prioritizing and tasks to efficiently service customers.

· Ensuring the highest quality of service to all customers

· Following route assignments throughout the day and completing all documents while checking in at the end of the shift.

· Communicating with dispatch throughout the day

· Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are being followed i.e. having proper PPE, ensuring the vehicle is equipped with the proper equipment such as a dolly and straps.
