DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a confident and personable individual, you will serve as a brand ambassador for Pit Stop’s products and services. You will solicit new customers; including construction, industrial, commercial to endeavor to build relationships and grow new business. This position services our customers by selling our products and developing and managing the ongoing relationships with our clients and our potential new clients/prospect. You’re an “A” player looking to drive revenue and build an admired Brand. You lead through action, delivering on your commitments and ensuring we leave every customer with a sense of “WOW”.   You will be responsible for becoming an expert in identifying challenges that our prospective customers face and work collaboratively with the team to execute strategies to secure and close new business.

  • Regular contact with existing accounts, through regular interaction with the account, ensuring that service being provided is superior, future business and projects are secured and complaints are escalated to the Operations Manager.
  • Hunt and Farming of New Accounts and services by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential customers and sales opportunities
  • Adjusts the approach/pricing of services to a specific customer by studying the type of business and trade factors.
  • Focuses sales efforts by reviewing existing and potential volume of past and potential future accounts. Working directly with inside sales to achieve overall success.
  • Complete Sales Agreements, where required and submitting orders to the Sales and Customer Experience Team for execution.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and delivery schedules, marketing tactics *regional SWOT
  • Recommends pricing and marketing tactics to management to meet and exceed quotas
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; making recommendations
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by meeting and exceeding results as needed
  • Learn and ensure Company’s values are being carried out
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure       effective communication

JOURNEYMAN COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT OR HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC - Coquitlam, BC

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES As a confident and personable individual, the heavy duty mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, diagnosis of the company’s fleet, in addition, he or she is required to be involved in disassembling and reassembling components such as engine, cooling system, fuel and exhaust systems, brake maintenance, regular PM servicing and ordering the necessary materials and parts that will be required to complete repairs. The following outlines the additional job requirements for this role;

  • Diagnoses equipment problems and determines repairs needed and demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
  • Fabricates, constructs, installs, and repairs equipment and machinery
  • Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Repairs, overhauls, maintains, and services diesel/gas powered vehicles, vacuum vessels, pumps, hydraulics, and other heavy equipment.
  • Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Analytical and problem solving skills

DELIVERY/SERVICE DRIVER - Coquitlam, BC

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities:

  • Operating different types of equipment (Flat deck trucks, trailers, and small vacuum service trucks)
  • Providing exceptional customer service skills
  • Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Understanding of logistics and geography of the lower mainland
  • Managing time and routes in an efficient manor
  • Being physically able to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing more than 50lbs

What your day to day will look like:

  • Performing Pre- and Post- trip vehicle inspections of assigned vehicle
  • Working closely with route Manager to improve route efficiencies
  • Following route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking in at the end of the route
  • Providing customer service in the field
  • Servicing portable toilets on a service route
  • Delivering and removing portable toilets

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Class 5 drivers license (with Air Endorsement preferred)
  • Clean drivers abstract (30 days or newer)
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in the portable toilet or waste service industry
  • Great knowledge of the lower mainland area
  • Trailer experience considered a strong asset

DESCRIPTION The Event Sales & Customer Experience Specialists are responsible for following call center policy and procedures including meeting call center standards, employee sales, improving quality service (Customer Excellence) and accomplishing organizational goals.

The role will be focused on growing our Event Business and will be responsible for becoming experts in identifying challenges that our existing and prospective customers face and work collaboratively with the team to execute strategies to secure and close new business while providing our Customers with the best experience possible.

Our products are portable washroom facilities, executive washroom trailers, septic holding tanks, roll-off waste containers and various add on items.

What your day to day will look like:

 

  • Work directly with customers via telephone (incoming & outgoing calls), and email to describe products and/or services in order to persuade potential and current customers to purchase new products and/or services
  • Educate customers on product offerings and services
  • Follow up with customer via telephone or email following initial sales contact
  • Identify customer issues and provides appropriate solutions via upsell of additional products and/or services and obtain customer commitment/ signoff.
  • Meet departmental sales goals consistently
  • Complete continuous product education to improve customer service
