Sean is the Operations Manager for BC and is responsible for coaching, training and mentoring Pit Stop’s drivers and operational support staff while managing day to day operations.
Prior to joining Pit Stop, Sean spent 4 years working in the waste and recycling industry with a multi-national waste company. After university, Sean started his career as the Owner/Operator of his own renovation company; this experience led him to BCIT where he would develop a passion for operations and logistics. Sean has a Diploma in Operations Management from BCIT, a Degree in Human Kinetics from UBC, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Sean was born and raised in the Vancouver area and currently lives in sunny Tsawwassen with his wife Adrian, young son Ryan, and Murphy the Black Lab. Sean enjoys woodworking projects, spending days in the yard with the family, and getting out for walks with Murphy whenever possible.
Professionally, Sean is involved with the Vancouver Board of Trade, Project Management Institute, and APICS (an Operations Management Professional Association). Sean is also a mentor with the BCIT Business Operations Management Program where he is on the Program Advisory Committee. In addition to these organizations Sean aspires, when the opportunities arise to get involved with the Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.
