November 2019 Events – It’s Beginning to Look a Little Festive

NOVEMBER 1st – 3rd – Lumière, Vancouver, BC

Spread across four Vancouver locations, Lumière Vancouver combines light and art while connecting communities. You can find the luminous art installations at English Bay, Jim Deva Plaza, Lot 19, and the Vancouver Art Gallery. Join in the FREE festivities for three days only November 1st – 3rd.

NOVEMBER 2nd – 15th – Bear Creek Park Lights, Surrey, BC

On for two weeks in early November, the FREE Bear Creek Park Lights Festival will light up all the plants and trees in the park. There will also be free lantern-making workshops from 4-5pm right next door at the Surrey Art Gallery. In previous years the festival included a photo booth, illumination board and costumed characters! We will likely see these attractions this year as well.

NOVEMBER 14th – 19th – Christmas at Hycroft, Vancouver, BC

Christmas at Hycroft Manor is Vancouver’s longest running Christmas fair featuring 17,000 square feet of unique boutiques, crafters and over two-dozen local Artisans. Enjoy a warm cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate as you wander through the Courtyard or stop by one of their food vendors for a scrumptious meal. Tickets are only $15 to enjoy this beautifully decorated piece of history.

NOVEMBER 22nd – Aurora Winter Festival, Vancouver, BC

Returning to Vancouver for its second year, Aurora will transform the well-known PNE into a magical wonderland filled with mystical characters, worlds, markets and games. Stop by the tube park, Ferris Wheel or frozen pond for some skating! There’s plenty of time to experience the magic this Holiday season. Aurora will be running from November 22nd – January 5th, 2020.

NOVEMBER 23rd – Winter Jubilee, Downtown Abbotsford, BC

Head to Downtown Abby for the Winter Jubilee and Tree Lighting! Activities include live entertainment, local craft beer, pictures with Santa, local vendors, carolers, ice skating, Christmas shopping, food trucks, and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. With FREE parking and entry there’s no reason not to join in the festivities!

NOVEMBER 30th – CandyTown, Vancouver, BC

Are you Imaging a space filled with unique holiday inspired dinks, treats and toys topped with ice carving, candy making, and live music? Well you’re in luck because CandyTown is all that and more. On November 30th Yaletown will transform into the sweetest the place on earth – and the best part, it’s FREE!
