Inside Sales & Customer Experience Specialist

The Inside Sales & Customer Experience Specialists are responsible for following call center policy and procedures including meeting call center standards, employee sales, improving quality service (Customer Excellence) and accomplishing organizational goals.

The role will be focused on growing our business and will be responsible for becoming experts in identifying challenges that our existing and prospective customers face and work collaboratively with the team to execute strategies to secure and close new business while providing our Customers with the best experience possible.

Our products are portable washroom facilities, executive washroom trailers, septic holding tanks, roll-off waste containers and various add on items.

What your day will look like:

· Work directly with customers via telephone (incoming & outgoing calls), and email to describe products and/or services in order to persuade potential and current customers to purchase new products and/or services

· Educate customers on product offerings and services.

· Follow up with customer via telephone or email following initial sales contact

· Identify customer issues and provides appropriate solutions via upsell of additional products and/or services and obtain customer commitment/ signoff.

· Meet departmental sales goals consistently.

· Complete continuous product education to improve the Customer Experience.

· Maintain accurate daily record of sales in sales tracker.

· Complete outgoing quotes/bids in a timely manner.

What you’ll bring to the table:

· Develop and build customer relationships while maintaining a high standard of customer service to the region/area.

· Experience working with TRUX (custom software) considered a strong asset.

· Background in inside or outside sales roles; post secondary education in related field considered an asset.

· Problem solving skills with great attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Respond to a variety of customer requests, special instructions and inquiries in a timely manner.

· Investigate and resolve customer issues – maintain detailed notes of all customer communication within company database.

· Motivated to provide solutions to our customers challenges.

General & Office Skills

· Maintain an understanding of all company’s products and services.

· Ability to enter data into database while engaging customers on the phone.

· MS Office proficiency (preferably intermediate Word and Excel)

· Work closely with all departments to ensure effective communication.

Qualifications

· High School, G.E.D or High School Equivalency; Post-secondary with business focus preferred

· 3+ years of work experiences in a sales role.

· Computer proficiency

· Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products

· Typing speed of 50WPM or better

· Knowledge of Trux CRM software or equivalent CRM tools

Septic Truck Driver / Operator

We’re looking for a Septic Truck Driver/Operator based out of our Coquitlam facility to be the face of Pit Stop on the road, and on our customer sites. This newly available role comes as a result of the continued growth of our business, and is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver/operator that is committed to exceeding customer expectations.

The right fit will have a Class 3 license with Air Brake endorsement, have a clean driving record, and be an excellent communicator. You’ll be physically fit, unafraid of hard work, and be comfortable driving and operating a large septic vacuum truck throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. If you’ve got experience hauling trailers, that’s a bonus!

You’ll have excellent knowledge of the region, and be a smooth operator of trucks with both automatic and manual transmissions. Technology wont scare you either, as we use software and tablets for dispatch and routing.

This newly available role comes as a result of the continued growth of our business, and is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver/operator that is committed to exceeding customer expectations.

The right fit will have a Class 1 or Class 3 license (air endorsement required) with a clean driving record, and be an excellent communicator. You’ll be physically fit, unafraid of hard work, and be comfortable driving and operating a variety of roll off trucks (manual & automatic) throughout Calgary and the surrounding area. You’ll be a stickler for details when it comes to safety and following procedures, and will ensure the highest level of service possible is delivered to all customers.

Transporting and dumping roll off bins will make up the bulk of your day, but you’re also a team player that is willing to jump in and help in the other areas of our business in a pinch.

Flex Driver

As a confident and personable individual, the pump truck driver is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty septic/vacuum truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers, while complying with all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations and with company policies.

What your day will look like:

  • Performing Pre- and Post- trip vehicle inspections of assigned vehicle
  • Working closely with route Manager to improve route efficiencies
  • Following route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking in at the end of the route
  • Providing customer service in the field
  • Servicing portable toilets on a service route
  • Servicing roll off bins on a service route
  • Delivering and removing portable toilets and executive washroom trailers
  • Operating different types of equipment as required (flat deck trucks, trailers, small vacuum service trucks, and roll off trucks)
  • Providing exceptional customer service skills
  • Ensuring that all safety policy and procedures are being followed i.e. proper PPE, ensuring the vehicle is equipped with the proper equipment, etc.
  • Must report all significant events on road including, but not limited to, any incidents or accidents, violations, near misses, site safety issues, etc.
  • To drive in a defensive manner, be away of surrounding and look ahead, leave a safe distance between vehicles, be a professional and courteous driver
  • Understanding of logistics and geography of the lower mainland
  • Managing time and routes in an efficient manner
  • Service the portable toilet units as per the companies policy while following company procedure

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Work experience in the portable toilet or waste service industry (preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of the city and surrounding area
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Class 3 drivers license (with Air Endorsement preferred) Class 5 accepted
  • Clean drivers abstract (30 days or newer)
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Must be physically able to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing more than 50lbs

The position is full time, with varying start times and varying days, 40 hours and seasonal overtime as we are a 7 day operation. Weekend work may involve working split shifts, depending on our customer’s time lines. The selected candidate will be required to perform physical activities (such as loading and unloading units onto trucks) and to perform at the highest level of providing Clean, Dependable Service consistently.

Mechanic Helper – Part-Time

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our preventative maintenance program, repair, and diagnosis of our truck and trailer fleet.

Safety is key in our business and the maintenance team plays a crucial role in maintaining both personal and vehicle safety. The Mechanics Helper is an entry-level position used primarily for performing preventative maintenance services on all equipment and performing minor repairs that they are qualified to perform. Training for this individual will be provided along with establishing the company safety culture, housekeeping and team expectations. Experience and working with other power tools and some welding would be an asset.

Various duties include:

  • Full vehicle services – lubes/oils
  • Lights / switches
  • Trailer plugs
  • Tire rotations
  • Brakes
  • Pumps/hoses
  • Dolly/cart/strap maintenance
  • Minor welding
  • Cleaning equipment / tools / shop
  • Picking up parts
  • Other duties assigned by Operations Manager

What you’ll bring to the table:

 Qualifications

  • Basic Mechanical background (required)
  • 2 years’ work experience in a Truck Shop
