SEPTEMBER 7th – Bike the Night, Vancouver, BC

Organized by HUB Cycling, a non-profit who’s mandate is to improve cycling conditions in Metro Vancouver, Bike the Night Vancouver returns to luminate the city streets on September 7th.

SEPTEMBER 8th – COHO Festival, West Vancouver, BC

Proudly a zero-waste event, this year’s Coho Festival continues to focus on educating the importance of protecting our fish and their environment. Join us for some BBQ Salmon, local craft beers, kids’ activities and more!

SEPTEMBER 14th – UBC Homecoming Football Game, Vancouver, BC

Break out that blue and gold because UBC Homecoming is the University’s premier celebration of school spirit for students, alumni, and the neighbouring community. Catch us around the Point Grey campus on September 14th for an exciting day of events, attractions, and the Homecoming football game.

SEPTEMBER 14th – Canada Running Series Eastside 10k, Vancouver, BC

SEPTEMBER 23rd – Campbell Valley Wine Run, Langley, BC

With your choice of a 15k run or 5k walk through Campbell Valley Park, the reward is still the same – WINE! Stopping at each host winery along the way runners can sample their vintages and purchase the wines at a discounted price. Don’t worry, purchased bottled will be delivered to the finish line where you’ll also find a BBQ, live music and prizes! Costumes are encouraged! Join in for the fun on September 22nd.

SEPTEMBER 1st – Pride, Calgary, AB

Celebrating the 29th year of colour, rainbows and smiles in downtown Calgary, Pride returns on September 1st to welcome people from all walks of life – no matter what shade of the rainbow you are.

SEPTEMBER – Run Calgary Dino Dash, Calgary, AB

Founded on the dreams of two University students, the Run Calgary Dino Dash continues to help provide scholarships, competition opportunities and uniforms to student athletes at U of C. Come out and support the cause on September 8th!

SEPTEMBER 12th – Run Calgary Beat Beethoven, Calgary, AB

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra has again teamed up with Run Calgary to collide the worlds of fitness and music and they call it Beat Beethoven. On a 4km looped course next to the beautiful Bow River, challenge yourself to walk or run 8km before the CPO completes 50 minutes of Beethoven’s best music.

SEPTEMBER 15th – Terry Fox Run, Calgary, AB

Held worldwide, the Terry Fox Run is an annual event that strives to raise money and awareness for cancer research. With no registration fees, though donations are encouraged, there is no reason not to support this great cause.

SEPTEMBER 18th – 20th – Beakerhead Festival, Calgary, AB

If art, science, and engineering had a baby they’d call it the Beakerhead Festival. Fortunate enough for us they did and it’s returning to Prince’s Island Park September 18-20th with awe-inspiring artworks, fire-breathing contraptions, and contemporary curiosities.

SEPTEMBER – Harvest Half Marathon, Calgary, AB

Routed in the historic east side of Vancouver, the Canada Running Series Eastside 10k travels through parts of Gastown, Chinatown and East Van. Contrasting the common Vancouver seawall races, the Eastside 10k will give runners a fresh change in scenery. Catch us along the route September 14th.
