Born and raised in Saskatoon, Olivia has lived all over western Canada, landing permanently in Calgary in 2010. Olivia has utilized her creative talents in various industries and her experiences brought out her true passion for operations and event execution.
To enhance her work experience, in 2010 Olivia acquired a diploma in Event Management from the Art Institute of Vancouver in British Columbia. While in Vancouver, Olivia was fortunate enough to meet both Rob and Shannon Mitchell, owners of Pit Stop Portables. Olivia worked alongside the Pit Stop Portables team at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games along with some other high profile events. Once she completed school, she relocated to Calgary right as we were expanding into that market. It was a no brainer for Olivia to join the team on a permanent basis!
Throughout the years, Olivia has worked with Pit Stop Portables in almost every capacity, in both the Alberta and BC office. Olivia has assumed the role of Alberta District Manager overseeing the entire Alberta operation. It’s from Olivia’s experience that her passion for assisting Pit Stop’s customers originates from. Olivia is determined to give our customers peace of mind, knowing from beginning to end, the success of their project or event is her top priority. Olivia’s daily mission is to ensure our customers are receiving the Clean, Dependable Service that we promise to deliver.
In her spare time, Olivia and her husband love experiencing Calgary’s culture by trying new restaurants, checking out local festivals and exploring Calgary’s outdoors. They are always on the lookout for the newest and tastiest wines or the newest Nutrl flavour. In the winter, you can find them bumming around any of the local ski hills. In the summer months, they love hiking and camping. If travelling was free, I have a feeling we would never see them again!
